Claudio, unfortunately today was our last lesson! It was a pleasure teaching you. I was able to observe an improvement with your English fluency in the last few months and you were always an engaged student with all the exercises and audio lessons! Super job! Today we continued the lesson with speaking about schedules and also on how to say sorry in a professional environment. You used your personal schedule as an example when having to speak about plans, meetings or arrangements, when you are available or very busy, on what dates you have scheduled events and when they start and finish. You used correct vocabulary and I noticed you also expressed what time you have an appointment in the proper manner "half-past ten". We listened to audio clips of individuals saying sorry in different ways and you correctly matched what they said afterwards to the reasons they had said it too. Excellent effort and keep up your practice of listening to different English documentaries and watching different programs with the subtitles on to acquire new vocabulary and phrases. All the best Claudio and I hope to teach you again in the future if your employer renews your lesson package.

Super job today with your listening skills during the audio clip portion of the lesson. You were able to extract all the pertinent information needed for the exercises. You accurately read a travel business itinerary and schedule then an adjacent email that advised of changes and you identified all the differences correctly. Afterwards, you read the script of the audio clip and chose the correct form of the words given in italics. Following this, you wrote sentences from words given as prompts - great spelling and cohesive sentences! You'll be completing the last two for homework. Keep up the great work Claudio!

Claudio, great job today with elaborating on a variety of things and writing too. We completed the word form table together, it was a little challenging as you had to give either the verb, adjective or noun of each word given but you did well. Afterwards, you worked on finding collocations for the word "customer" (customer care, customer complaints, customer satisfaction etc.). I asked you questions about customer service and customer complaints and on how to build customer loyalty, which you were able to elaborate on using effective vocabulary. You wrote 5 customer service rules using the words you had indicated in the previous word table exercise, you did this very well, with only a couple revisions. Lastly, you spoke about your schedule using the present tense for future reference. Keep up the great effort and work!

We had a great conversation today at the beginning of the lesson. Your fluency and use of appropriate vocabulary is improving. Great job Claudio! Afterwards, we continued with the lesson exercise, which asked you to elaborate with comparisons of your company's customer service and the text you read last lesson, depicting how the Zappos customer service functions. You had to start your phrases using: I think // I don't think it's a good idea because // It could // it couldn't work in my company because. You expressed yourself very well.

Great job today Claudio! We started Unit 5 with a few questions that you answered and elaborated on, Who are your main customers? How does your company keep its customers happy? What percentage of your company's business is online? You used good words that were suitable for the topic of discussion and you were able to support your opinions very well. You read an article about Zappos, a company and how they focus on reaching above and beyond with customer satisfaction. Afterwards, you chose the most appropriate title for the article from a few given. Lastly, you successfully explained what numbers that were mentioned in the article were for and what they meant. Next lesson perhaps rereading the article would be a good idea prior to continuing with the following corelated exercises in the lesson. Keep up the good work!

Today's lesson was comprised of listening to an audio clip and reading exercises combined with role play and a number of opportunities of giving your opinion and elaborating on points. Great job with it all Claudio! The audio contained many details and you had to decipher what the benefits and negative points were of a fictitious new software introduced within a company. You elaborated on this video and you also wrote a list of benefits and problems too. Very good writing skills too. You read about Stack Ranking, which is a method of measuring employee performance. Afterwards, you successfully answered related questions and elaborated on the points very well. Overall great job today! We will be starting on Unit 5 next lesson!

Today we continued with approximation terms and built upon what you had learned last lesson. You successfully matched terms such as, a little under, about, nearly and well over to other words that generally mean the same. You continued using these terms by describing stats and numbers pertaining to your company and Italy. Good work as it shows you have a solid understanding of this! The next exercise was regarding a text you read that described a new software for a workplace. You were able to tell me what you thought were the key features and what were the employee concerns. Key expressions were also covered afterwards that dealt with how to, explain features & benefits, compare service & systems, ask questions & express concerns and how to handle questions and concerns. Great job overall today Claudio!

Today's lesson focused on using adjectives and modifiers in a comparative form. You completed a number of exercises where you had to choose the correct adjective and use the correct words to describe and compare a company software. Some of the words you used were, better, more efficiently, useful, easily, more slowly, a lot, a little, easily, up-to-date, almost, much and quickly. You also analyzed a chart comparing the numbers of users and types. You also listened to audio clips and one of them dealt with numerical descriptions and you had to indicate what words they used to describe the numbers, such as, well over, nearly, about and a little under. Great job listening and completing the exercises, considering all the specifics that were being communicated!

Your listening skills are excellent as today you listened to an audio with three different individuals who spoke about a service or system and they gave their opinion as to if they made their life easier. You understood all of it fully. There were sentences you had to complete by choosing the correct verb for each. You completed this very well! At the end of the lesson you spoke about services and systems you personally use that make your life easier. You supported your reasoning very well and you used effective language and vocabulary too. Great job!
