Today's lesson continued with related exercises to the text you read last time. Excellent work with your homework! I helped clarify the difference between "shares" and "equity" as well. You did a very good job with describing what a list of different numbers was, pertaining to the "Crowdfunding" paragraph you read. There were digits in the hundreds of thousands as well and written as percentages and dollar amounts expressed as English pounds too - all of which you said correctly! Great job!

Excellent use of vocabulary during today's conversation regarding crowdfunding. You completed exercises related to a text you finished reading about the aforementioned subject. Great job giving your own example of a similar situation to today's topic and elaborating on what occurred as well. Lastly, you began matching definitions to words in the text you had read previously. For homework you'll be completing this exercise, along with another, which you'll then share at the beginning of next class.

Claudio, super job today speaking about cyber security and elaborating on points about how important it is in your company as well. You listened to an audio clip that spoke about this topic too, afterwards matching verbs and nouns used within the audio. Lastly, questions allowed you to speak about rules your company has for technology and software and if they have behavioural policies and a workplace dress code.

Excellent job elaborating on questions regarding today's video about cross cultural office/workplace differences. You spoke about your personal past experience and used an example as well when talking about the Italian approach to dealing with employees (ie. hamburger approach). Lastly, you read three different business situations between two people from different countries and accurately described what you considered the problem and solution with each. Great job!

Today you watched another video regarding cultural differences in business, specifically with punctuality and what it can mean from one country to another. Another point that was raised was whether or not to raise concerns or speak up to a superior. It was a very interesting video and you remembered all the details needed in order to complete sentence blanks in an exercise afterwards. You also spoke about your meetings and how being late to an appointment is viewed in Italy. Good fluency!
