Excellent job with today's exercises Claudio! We began with role playing a meeting using the terms "say" and "tell". It was apparent you have a confident knowledge of the use of these words. You read an email about an order and then listened to an audio regarding problems with the shipment too. Great work identifying the details pertaining to the situation. You learned a few words as well, such as, "dispatched" and "chasing" while reading through the Key Expressions regarding shipments and orders. Keep up your hard work!

Today's lesson focused on the use of direct and indirect questions, identifying them and coming up with them as well for different situations. We role played a situation where you had to call me (a shipping company) in order to inquire about shipping costs and container sizes. Excellent job formulating indirect and direct questions and combining them to ask questions.You listened to a couple of audio clips and spoke about what transpired in each along with completing sentences with the words "say" and "tell", like they used in one of the audio recordings. Great job today with quickly applying what you learned in an accurate manner!

Claudio, super job with your fluency and ease with speaking about myriad of topics at the beginning of today's lesson. We spoke about education, course and university selection and youth and societal modernization in Italy. In response to a lesson question, you touched upon the advantages and disadvantages or transporting goods on land, by ship or air. You underlined the fact that some products must be transported only by one mode of transportation, whereas others require more than one too.

BE, B1, Unit 9 (Logistics) to slide 7. We continued speaking about logistics, reviewed some vocabulary, and listened to an interview. Claudio, you did a magnificent job today and showed a splendid understanding of the lesson as well as steady improvement throughout!

Today's lesson focused on what is involved in importing a product from another country and the stages involved in doing so. Since we started Unit 9, a new unit, we were able to wrap up Unit 8 and the lesson on crowdfunding. You read the outcome of the crowdfunding products you had discovered last time and how they each turned out. It was quite interesting! Unit 9 introduced some new terms, such as, middlemen, rugs and stage (fase). You effectively described what the word "logistics" means and further elaborated by speaking about the need to carefully consider how to import a product (land, sea or air) and the pros and cons of each. Great job Claudio!

Claudio, super job today as you spoke a lot when elaborating on business crowdfunding ideas and answering questions about what makes a successful business idea. Great choice of words, such as, innovative and nitrogen when speaking about an idea you would put forth for crowdfunding. You learned what "pros and cons" means as well. You're nearly finished Unit 8! We'll complete it tomorrow and begin Unit 9.
