The house vocabulary was the goal of today's lesson. The lesson started with the introduction of new vocabulary by using illustrations and flashcards. Then, the locative case was briefly shown in the context of the location of particular furniture and appliances. Finally, the most common adjectives which are usually used to describe a room or a house were briefly highlighted. Regarding the performance, The student did pronounce new words comfortably with the native sound. In terms of general comprehension, Saski's understanding was absolutely perfect which shows that the pupil absorbs new knowledge fast and naturally. Top-notch!

The main objective of the lesson was to introduce three modal verbs (can, must and want ) in Polish. Therefore, after presenting the basic conjugation, the student straight away read all the bubbles with the modals verbs and answer some questions. Saskia did exceptionally well in terms of general comprehension/retention of the previous vocabulary and right pronunciation. At this stage, there is evidence that the student understands the phonetics of the language and is able to read in polish very nicely and clearly. Brilliant!

Talking about the weather was the main topic of today's lesson. After, the introduction of new vocabulary related to weather, the student had a go and described the weather in her town. Having been exposed very little to a new subject, Saski did applied the new vocabulary effectively and confidently right away. Student also pronounced a few difficult words correctly and just right without practicing them at all. Finally, Saskia did an audio exercise fantastically well reassuring me that her comprehension is very good at this stage! Splendid!

City vocabulary and asking for directions were the key focus of today's lesson. In particular, some previous vocabulary was recycled and new phrases were introduced, The student continues to have excellent vocabulary retention which evidence was seen today. What is more, all-important language skills such as comprehension//reading and speaking are evenly and consistently being developed. Well done!

Professional occupations were the key focus of today's session. Regarding grammar, the instrumental case was reviewed. Saskia did today a number of activities including reading and listening. The student scored high on the listening activity and demonstrated very good comprehension. Other language elements/components like vocabulary retention, grammar, and speaking are evenly being developed. Language progress is evident!

The aim of Tuesday's lesson was to highlight nationalities and countries in Polish. Due to the complexity of the language, different endings e.g (adjective/noun) were shown in order to provide more clarity to the subject. During, this lesson The student very easily and naturally absorbed a new material which made the lesson flow. Saskia did all the gap-filling exercises very fast and confidently. The student also did the reading and all the new words were nicely pronounced. Top-notch!

Tuesday’s lesson focused mainly on the instrumental case in relation to people's professional occupations. Because of this, different occupations were outlined as well as some common and basic verbs that might be used when talking about professions. Saskia did gap-filling activities and undertook the reading. All these activities were done superbly by the student. The progress is easily seen and the key language aspects such as comprehension and vocabulary building are constantly being developed. Perfect!

Today's session introduced a number of new verbs (ending with am - for the first person) and some new nouns. Because of this, the student practiced the reading in order to see how the new vocab works in practice. Saskia did an excellent job in terms of reading by exhibiting very good retention as well as high comprehension. Reading difficult words also comes naturally, and the student is able to pronounce new phrases with the right intonation. Responding to questions in fast and intuitive manners is another student's strength. Finally, the instrumental case was highlighted and explained with a few examples.

Today's lesson was a continuation of the previous topic. Therefore, the main focus was on how to read and tell the time in Polish and how to describe the daily routine more accurately. Despite the fact, that the 12-hour clock can be used in a casual way, the student opted in to use a more difficult and complex 24-hour clock during the entire lesson. As a result, Saskia went the extra mile and used skilfully a new knowledge that produced a fabulous outcome. The student pronunciation was crystal clear and all the endings were audibly pronounced. Well done!

Tuesday's session dealt with the concept of time. Therefore, telling times and talking about the time was the main objective of today's session. Regarding grammar, the ordinal and cardinal numbers were used as well as the locative case. Regarding the student's performance, Saskia’s general comprehension, as well as an understanding of the topic, was absolutely top-notch! Student progress is recorded every single time!
