English Teacher (El Cultural) January 2018 – Present • Delivering lessons to the group of students between 6 and 32 • Preparing relevant exercises according to the objective of the lesson and preparing students to the internal exam • Marking and providing appropriate feedback on oral and written work Undertaking administrative tasks, such as keeping student registers and attendance records Polish Tutor Italki, Preply, Verbling, Verbal Planet May 2017 - Present • Delivering individual tutoring classes to the student in English and Polish • Designing lesson plan and creating new content for the student) • Assigning homework, providing feedback to the student My classes are usually based on practice by speaking with the emphasis on vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar. In essence, I always focus solely on students' needs and because of this, during my lessons I incorporate many visual materials such as pdf, flashcards, text, images, etc. I strive to reduce my speaking time so the student can speak a target language as much as possible. During my first meeting with the new pupil, I always try to evaluate a student's level of a target language by asking many questions. However, I also ask the student about his/her aims and objectives so I could design my class accordingly. That is why I strive to make an objective for each class so we both know (pupil and me) what are we going to practice during the lesson. I like sending homework to my students (if they are willing to undertake one) and during the next meeting, I tend to use warm-up, revision, and an introduction of new material. Nevertheless, depending on the level of language of the student, my classes can have a completely different form (pure conversation, grammar explanation, vocabulary practice, reading, etc.) My teaching materials: PDF file Text Documents Presentation slides/PPT Audio files Image files Video files Flashcards Articles and news Quizzes Test templates and examples Graphs and charts Homework assignments I am a mYngle certified Blended Learning trainer.
