Great effort today Giovanni! Today the lesson focused on trade fairs and conferences. You started by explaining how you are involved in trade fairs for your industry and how these events are important to learn about new and competitor products. Very well explained using appropriate vocabulary! You went on to listen to an audio clip where two people were planning a conference. There was a lot of detail but you were able to find all the missing information you needed for the following linked exercises. Excellent job and keep it up!

During this part, we mainly spoke about visiting customers or hosting them, another field you are experienced in. Good vocabulary and it's great to hear how you reinforce your answers with examples. Keep up the good work Giovanni!

Good job today speaking about your calendar appointments. We started a little late as you had a work meeting that ended later than expected and you were busy off and on with work calls that you had to tend to in between. Nonetheless, we were able to work on a couple of exercises. In the first exercise you were given a conference schedule and you had to make sentences based on whether you were free, when you were busy, when you were travelling etc. This was followed by an exercise asking you to speak about your own personal calendar and when you plan or hope to do something, when you are meeting people or have an arrangement, when you are available or very busy and when one of your events starts and ends. You did this very well! Good job today, considering you were busy at work too!

In this part of our lesson, we focused on review on reviewing future forms. Good listening skills and use of the correct tenses.
