Today you read an article about Crowdfunding - you read it well Giovanni! We had a great conversation about crowdfunding and you shared your opinions on if it is good or not. The way you supported your reasoning was effective and clear. You went on to match words from the article to the correct definitions (words such as: capital, loan, potential investors, entrepreneurs, equity, dividends, financial forecasts, shares and commission). You understood what each word meant and used them properly when speaking about them. The last exercise was to find amounts and numbers mentioned in the article and explain what they referred to. Wonderful job with this Giovanni!

Today you listened to a couple of audio clips. The first dealt with someone registering on a website and you had to put the events in order. You continued with filling in the blanks with words directly from the clip. The following audio clip you listened to was of a company representative who introduces a new security system to employees. This was a three part audio and you answer the linked questions afterwards very well! Great job today Giovanni!

Today's lesson focused on the rules as a new employee. We started off by listening to an audio conversation that was with a new employee where they discussed which rules needed to be followed and questions that the new individual asked. Your comprehension and listening skills are excellent as you identified all points perfectly. A role played followed where you pretended to be a new employee and I was your employer. You asked questions about, personal use of the internet and phones, internet security (use of passwords, new software, etc.) security and identification entering and leaving the building punctuality and working hours health and safety rules dress code and you came up with a few questions of your own also. We had a an interesting conversation about health and safety and each gave examples of our own experiences. Great job today Giovanni!
