At the student's request: conversation (teacher's materials). It was very nice to meet you, Giuliana! We talked about vacation, Christmas, travelling, food, and your job. You were able to maintain a conversation by offering meaningful input and responding to information in a good manner. I hope to see you again!

Excellent work today Giuliana, focusing on some tricky English words which seem similar to Italian but have different and particular meanings! We continued to discuss travel, then focused on weather and how to discuss temperature, rain and sunshine, making comparisons between different places and times of year. We reviewed comparative and superlative forms to talk about different aspects in comparison with other things. We also touched on "like" to ask about descriptions of places, people, appearance or personality.

Another excellent lesson with great comprehension and fluency Giuliana! We continued to look at the topic of travelling and focused on different words for trips and journeys, as well as vocabulary used in airports and aeroplane travel. Language used was present continuous vs present simple, and countable or uncountable nouns in questions and negatives. You have excellent understanding of these points, well done!

Lovely work today Giuliana! You understood how to use HAVE or HAVE GOT, practised using those verbs in statements and questions, then showed excellent comprehension of uncountable nouns using 'some' or 'any'. You also interpreted and described a new way of preparing to travel with excellent fluency, and we agreed that the lesson showed a useful method of packing clothes which we will try!

Excellent work with the past tense today Giuliana! You understand how to form questions and negatives well, and are learning the irregular verbs quickly, so you are making great progress! Today we talked about inventions, practised asking questions about the details and situations of the inventions, and discussed the development of the first car by Henry Ford.

Great work in this lesson Giuliana! We focused on the past simple and firstly looked at the history of a clothing company, describing the stages involved in setting it up and responding to questions about the development, with a focus on actions needed to establish a business. Then we explored some vocabulary to describe different products. We re-ordered a conversation discussing research into products and finally focused on the prepositions to describe days dates, places and times.

Great participation as always Guiliana! We focused on the continuous verb forms today, and practised using them in the present and the past, also looking at when to use the present simple and when the continuous and noting the difference for regular activities. You understood the grammar perfectly and were confident doing the exercises, especially where a mixture of forms was required in business contexts. Well done!
