Thanks for your contributions in today's lesson Linda, it was nice to catch up with you. You spoke with a lot of enthusiasm and confidence throughout the lesson, using a suitable range of vocabulary to express your opinions and supporting them with additional information. In this lesson we talked about your positive and negative experiences while travelling, considering some of the different countries you've visited and how travel can change our perspective on life in general. We also studied some related vocabulary and a couple of common proverbs associated with travel. I look forward to our next lesson, see you then!

Great use of phrasal verbs/multi-word verbs such as: catch up, make up for, come up with. These are high frequency phrases and can be used in many situations so try working them into your next updates and keep them fresh in your mind.

You made good use of 'stand out from' 'diffrentiate' and 'stand up to scrutiny' while discussing behaviour and career development. Keep using these expressions to tell stories about your experience and work situations so they'll connect themselves to specific memories.

You made great use of 'could have + past participle' and 'should have' to express how miscommunication in a particular situation could have been avoided.
