Thanks Maria. I know understand subject, referring to and possessive cases and how key words such as Ako, Ikaw, Sila etc changes for each case. I am now very comfortable with the structure of simple compund senteces. We are now starting to learn colours.

Great idea to do a comprehension exercise to check my reading and understanding of the given text. The sentence structure you have taught me is starting to work well. As my vocabulary improves, i will become more fluent. There is a lot to understanding and you are very patient which is totally appreciated.

Ako gusto ko ang tagalog lessons ikaw teach. The formation of sentences is really exciting. Thanks for taking the time to write a practice test for me. I found it very rewarding.

Thanks Maria. I am learning so much about simple sentence structure. I feel confident with compound sentences. More learning on my part is required but i am very happy with how we are progressing.

I feel really proud that you take so much interest in me. Both advising me as a teacher in Tagolog and as a friend who has lived in the Philippines. It is very much appreciated. Tonight we learnt simple sentences. I have been away for a week and it is time that i go back and study the last of what you have taught me. Much appreciated. You show great kindness to me.
Salamat ka
Joseph

Thank You Maria for taking the time and effort into providing me with pages of useful everyday conversation for me to put into practice when i fly to the philippines this week! I know there is a lot of thought and preparation time that has gone into this. I look forward to practising the tagalog that i have learnt with the philippine people. I have already have made some basic attempts and it is very nice to realise that they understand what i say!!
Thanks once again
Joseph Abeya
PS.. I will be travelling with my lesson notes!!
