As requested, today we worked on listening comprehension, and you noticed that although you were familiar with the vocabulary, the speed made it difficult to understand one of the speakers. Continue to work on all areas (vocabulary building, grammar, listening and speaking skills) outside of class.

At the student's request: conversation. We spoke about communication. Francesca, you are becoming more fluent and confident with English. Sometimes you still have trouble choosing the more appropriate words but that can be resolved through practice.

BE B2 Unit 6 up to p7. Making decisions. We read a text and discussed different personalities' strengths and weaknesses. We finally talked a bit about our own personal results. New words: self-contained, come up with, thoughtful, detached, rely on (reliable). Your fluency has improved a lot, Francesca. You ask questions and remained engaged throughout. Well done.

It was a pleasure talking with you in today's class. Overall, you did a really good job of expressing yourself. You seem to use the right vocabulary in talking about different things and when you had to look for a particular word you looked it up on the Internet and then tried to use it and I didn't notice any times where you used the wrong word to express an idea. The mistakes I saw were mainly minor regarding the use of prepositions or maybe a slight word order issue but nothing that made it difficult to understand. You overall did very well in expressing yourself today on this topic. Great work!
