For our first lesson today we focused on how to show interest for some time. You performed very well, especially on the writing section. Your pronunciation was also quite clear today. We started our section on networking & discussed how important it is in your job. It was nice to meet you Isabella.

Dear Isabella, it was very nice meeting you today! We had a lovely introductory lesson as it was the first time we met. It was nice to hear you speak about your career and family. You choose appropriate English words when speaking and you speak at a good pace. We were able to work on the lesson too. You elaborated on your work and expanded upon the types of positions within your department (full time, part time, freelance). We continued by completing verb phrases with the correct missing words - and you did wonderfully with this! Afterwards, you categorized each of these phrases into which dealt with a job, colleagues and clients, areas of business or workplace activities. This was a tricky exercise and you did very well too. I'm confident with further and continued practice in all areas of the English language, including speaking and grammar, you will shine!
