Alessandra, lovely lesson today with a lot of speaking opportunities for you. You did very well with giving your opinions, elaborating on a variety of points and answering questions about texts that you read. You used effective vocabulary when answering: What is the best way to find a new job? Is it easier or more difficult than ten years ago? You mentioned LinkedIn and its popularity these days when finding a job and creating valuable professional contacts. This ended up being a perfect segue into the following slide reading exercise, which was about LinkedIn and its benefits. Great reading fluidity, focus on the words ending in "s" and keep practicing the different words that end in "ed" and their associated ending sounds (t, d, id). You were able to quickly indicate the answers to the questions asking for numerical information and also how LinkedIn makes it easier to find jobs, contacts and references. Excellent job and it was nice to have met Gioia also!

It was nice teaching you again today Alessandra! You had many opportunities to speak and elaborate today. We started the Business English A2 Unit 5 lesson that dealt with Customer Service specifically. You began by speaking about your experiences with customer service after reading commentary several customers left after they called a company's call center. You used effective terminology and clearly stated your opinions. Another exercise had you indicate the different types of communication based on the images given and you went on to express which you prefer and why. Your reading skills showed when you read an article titled "Multi-channel customer service". Your comprehension was clear with answers to the related questions. Lastly, you were able to support your reasons of how companies can improve communication with customers by giving your ideas and finished today's lesson by successfully matching definitions to bolded words within the text you read. Great job today Alessandra, keep it up!
