Wonderful lesson Serena! We spoke about conditionals and the use of past perfect today. You read texts in order to answer the exercise questions correctly. Some of the exercises were, matching dialogue parts, matching similar meanings and using words in their correct form. We also had a chance to do role play where we played the parts of a sales manager and a sales director. Proper dialogue had to be used in order to negotiate using conditionals. Remember to always watch the words ending in "ed" to ensure they're pronounced correctly. Refer to the "ed" homework I gave you after last class with the different sound groupings. Overall, positive attitude and excellent job on the aforementioned!!

Serena! Amazing lesson! You read long texts from conversations between three individuals within the lesson we covered today and you were fluid and your pronunciation was great! An example of a more complex word your read with ease and with no hesitation was "specifications". You also understood the sense of the conversation immediately, being able to answer true and false statements at the end of the passage. You had the chance to read many different words and new vocabulary, all ending in ED to categorize each in one of the following sounds for the endings: sounds like ED, sounds like D and sounds like T. You learned some new words from this exercise and you were able to perfect the pronunciation of each word as a result of understanding the endings of each word. Great word, I'm looking forward to our next lesson to continue discussing the area of meetings and any related language!

Serena was very fluent and used many professional words when speaking generally and when answering questions from today's lesson topic. We focused on English for meetings in order to have ample opportunity to discuss different related topics and situations. We spoke about climbing the corporate ladder and the function of a chair in an employee meeting. The discussion that ensued was very frank and dealt with real life situations from a corporate perspective, so Serena was able to use appropriate language such as, consensus, agreement, disagreement, chair, leadership etc. I also shared my experiences in corporate training and chairing meetings to augment the lesson in general. Serena, wonderful use of the above-mentioned vocabulary and great discussion. I'm looking forward to your next lesson!

For our lesson today we focused on the simple & continuous forms. Great work using these different tenses by completing sentences correctly & forming questions as well.
