BR A1 Unit 8 to page 12. Today you spoke about the qualities needed for your job as well as the skills, experience and qualifications that enable you to perform well in the workplace. We looked at the present continuous tense and you were able to use it successfully. You made some interesting comments about change, well done!

BR A1 Unit 8 to page 8. Today we spoke about employment and we read job adverts. We worked with adjectives and we described the traits of different jobs using the adjectives. You completed this task successfully. Various tasks proved challenging, however, you showed determination and I am pleased with your efforts.

We spoke about different departments and you told me about the departments in your company. Your confidence and competence developed as the lesson progressed. BR A1 Unit 6 completed. We started our lesson listening to an audio clip. You correctly identified the missing words and confidently answered the questions. We spoke about starting conversations and then listened to two audio clips where people started conversations in different situations. You matched the phrases and responses with ease, well done!

BR A1 Unit 6 to page 14. Today we looked at countable and uncountable nouns and you used the words a, an and some correctly. You demonstrated a good understanding of the audio clip and answered the questions confidently. Speaking about a trip using the phrases provided was a challenging task, however, you completed the task successfully, well done!

This was a challenging task, however, you were able to look words up and you expressed yourself well. BR A1 Unit 5 to page 20 task 1. Our lesson started by listening to an audio clip for information. We focused on the past simple tense and took note of how the verbs changed. We spoke about the -ed ending and when the -ed is pronounced as an extra syllable. I enjoy the energy that you bring to our lessons.
