Today we worked on consolidating the rules for the gerund and infinitive forms and started a follow up activity on emailing (requesting a service or task).

today we completed the exercises in Business 1:1, unit 17 on improvising in a meeting, by looking at 6 sentence patterns with the gerund and infinitive. Next time, we will put this together into a simulation where you have do an impromptu presentation like the ones we saw in the unit.

Today we worked on the key expressions from the meeting in unit 17 of Business 1:1 (course material) about giving an impromptu talk in a meeting. We started to look at the use of the gerund and infinitive, as well!

Today we looked at how to improvise in a meeting. First we looked at your ideas on improvising (see the 3 points in the notes) and then started to analyze the language used in an example meeting that we read.

Using slide BEB2 Unit 12 we discussed the advantages and disadvantages of partnerships and teams. We will continue to explore the benefits of creating a partnership and discuss what each side of the partnership offers in order to make it successful.
