Today we worked on talking about companies and their organization in unit on p7. You'll do part 4 for homework and start an outline applying those expressions to an 'island' about your University and department.

Keypoints: reviewed sentences from an order to direct / indirect question to request to polite request. Adding 'doubt' or 'uncertainty' (creating politeness), and 'will you do sth' is the same as 'I want you to do sth'. Corrected 'Nestle' work in Unit1 p.8/9.

Today we added to our word map for greetings and introductions, reviewed the 1st unit of dialogues (also about greeting people), practiced our 1st Island using the transition words I added to your original, and started the 1st unit of the course book on companies.

We began work on our first fluency "Island", about greeting and presenting ourselves in social situations. We started the 2nd unit of dialogues to work on ear-training.
