Personal Information |
I grew up bi-lingual, with love of Languages. I studied languages for my first degree and speak a number at a variety of different levels. My interest in Arabic is long-standing. I have studied MSA as well as Moroccan, some egyptian and Palestinian dialect. However, I feel I am unable to speak anything. As it is, ive now been out of arabophone countries for 5 yrs and what was there is very very rusty. I return to university this year and have succeeded in convincing the university to let me take Arabic as my Language option. However, the only Arabic they offer is Levantine. Given a small background in palestinian I wanted to take some Lebanese dialect course to refresh what little is still there and feel more confident going into the course. I had tried to egyptian dialect classes whilst working in DR Congo last year but internet was too weak and I was forced to cancel. I returned last week from DRC and would like to give it another go. |
