Hey there! My name is Ella and I have recently finished my diploma degree "Comparative Literature" at the University of Vienna. While still at school and university, I have been working as a language teacher and tutor as I really enjoy working with languages. So far, I have studied (and in most cases taught) English, Latin, French and Italian. My interest in other languages and cultures has also led me to travel around the world - as far as New Zealand where I lived and studied for one and a half years. Thus, I have met a lot of different people and a lot of different students. I am aware that everyone learns in a different way and I am ready to adapt my approach to fit your needs. I have been a language tutor for more than 7 years now. I have been mainly giving private lessons to students aged 10 to 20. So far I have concentrated on English, but I have also tutored French, Latin and German. Since 2011, I have been teaching at a language school in Austria called "Learning Centre Tullnerfeld". I also gained further teaching experience as a tutor at the University of Vienna, where I tutored an introductionary literature course in 2011/2012. During my career as a teacher, I have helped student with exam preparation, given them long-term tutoring following their language course at school, and did intensive courses for students who have never studied a certain language before. In doing so, I aim to focus on the individual needs of each students, which results in different kinds of courses, e.g. courses focused on conversation & speaking, grammar, writing or combinations of these elements.
