My name is Woltera and I am South African. I have a passion for people and adventure. As a result, I have traveled and worked abroad extensively. I would describe myself as friendly, empathic, and creative. I find joy in spending time in nature, doing yoga, going to the beach, and visiting art galleries and the theatre. Besides teaching English, I am also a qualified Video Editor and I have worked in the Television and Media Industry for a great part of my life. Currently, I enjoy teaching business and conversational English online while my cat Gaia and I live on the Garden route, one of the most beautiful parts of South Africa.

I studied a BA in Performing arts and English and completed my TEFL diploma shortly after graduation. My first teaching job was in Taiwan, where I taught Adult learners Business and conversational English. Since then I have gathered 8 years of experience teaching in this field. I have been teaching full-time since 2019 and for the past two years, I have been teaching online. Besides teaching English I have quite a few years of experience in the field of Media and Entertainment. I have been working as Video Editor for Major Broadcasters in South Africa, when not abroad teaching. I believe my broad cultural experiences and background in both the Arts and corporate environments make me a good communicator and so a better teacher.
