I am 60 years old and have been married for 35 years. My wife and I have 3 adult children who are all married. One of my children is an actor, another is a sports agent and my youngest child just finished medical school and is now beginning her residency program. My initial professional experience was as a business transaction attorney for 20 years. Much of that practice involved representing professional sports teams and professional athletes. After practicing law for 20 years, I became part of a sports representation agency dealing exclusively with baseball players. I have spent time in almost every major city in the U.S. My wife and I have lived in the U.S. East Coast, West Coast and Midwest. In addition to experiencing the significant cultural differences in the U.S. I have been able to learn the particular idiomatic expressions of each region of the U.S. For business and personal enjoyment reasons, I have traveled extensively throughout Europe, Africa and Asia. Although I have had wonderful experiences everywhere I have traveled, my favorite country is Italy. My personal interests mostly involve professional sports. I am in the gym working out 6 days a week and enjoy bicycling. I am partial to Italian food and California wine.

I was a businessman and lawyer in the United States for 25 years and am now retired from business. For the past 8 years I have been teaching mostly business English to students from Europe, and Japan. I have taught English to many hundreds of people to improve their English skills with the goal of furthering their business careers. I design lessons that always include topics such as food, sports, fashion, politics and anything else that is of interest to that particular student. Instead of improving your grammar by using a textbook, you will be improving your English skills rapidly by reading and discussing topics that are interesting to you because you will learn faster if you are learning about your interests.
