I am an accomplished teacher with many years of experience teaching a variety of ages, from children to adults in Norway and the USA.I have taught Norwegian for several years both in a classroom setting and online. I have a variety of experiences using different teaching curriculums and creating my own curriculum. Some of the resources/curriculum I use are: “På vei”, “Stein på Stein”, “Norsk, nordmenn og Norge” and “Sett i gang”.

I have been teaching in person since 1995 and online since 2014. From 1995-1998, I worked with children ages 1-6 at a daycare in Norway and from 1998- 2012 I worked with grades 1-3 as a homeroom teacher in the USA. In 201, I started working as a Norwegian teacher at a college in Madison, WI, USA and worked there until 2021. I started teaching Norwegian online in 2013 as an independent contractor. Some of the companies I have worked with and still work with as an independent contractor teaching Norwegian online are: The USA Air Force, The British Armed Forces, Avenues the World School and Italki. I also have my own company called NorWeSpeak.
