I consider myself a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher and a good communicator of the knowledge and skills necessary to use English in all contexts required in a modern global environment. I enjoy meeting, communicating and working together with language learners and helping them to attain their objectives in English. I love music, films, reading and travelling (which I used to do more regularly before my children arrived!).

I have 39 years' experience teaching English as a foreign language in Greece in both general and business English contexts. I have also worked for 28 years as Director of Studies in foreign language schools. In this role, my responsibilities have included curriculum development and assessment, staff professional training development, academic schedule management, examination preparation and co-ordination, oral examining, exam preparation and marking. I have been employed by both the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate and the PanHellenic Association of Language Schools Owners as an oral examiner. I have also worked for various publishers, including Addison Wesley Longman, as copy editor and materials developer on English language course books. I am a mYngle certified Blended Learning trainer.
