Since 2018, I have embarked on a fulfilling journey of online teaching. It all began with imparting basic English skills to Laotian children residing in Laos. Later, I immersed myself in the captivating depths of the Ecuadorian Amazon, where I spent three transformative months teaching English and Spanish to the local Achuar community.
As my passion for teaching grew, I expanded my horizons to include online instruction for children through Open English. Subsequently, I ventured into offering private lessons in Spanish, English, and German via virtual platforms. In January 2022, I joined Hilbert Education, where my primary focus has been teaching German to Ecuadorian doctors aspiring to pursue their medical specializations in Germany.
The experience of being an educator has proven immensely gratifying thus far. Witnessing the progress my students make fills me with joy, and I am honored to play a role in providing them with greater opportunities for their future. I firmly believe that by acquiring a new language, they open countless doors to a brighter tomorrow.
In my teaching approach, I strive to go beyond language instruction and incorporate cultural elements. For instance, while teaching German, I emphasize important behavioral aspects such as punctuality, politeness, and adherence to established rules. I believe that integrating these cultural nuances is vital in the language-learning process, enabling students to fully grasp the essence of the language they are studying.
