I am a native teacher of European Portuguese. I love being in contact with different cultures and sharing my passion for my country, my language and the lusophone world. I believe I have good comunication skills gained through my experience as a Modern Foreign Languages student and and as a teacher. In my free time I enjoy travelling, reading, dancing, singing, being in touch with nature, going to the cinema and theatre and playing with my pets.

I hold a degree in Modern Languages and Literature (ducational Training Strand) from the University of Coimbra, one of the oldest universities in continuous operation in the world, the oldest university of Portugal and one of its largest higher education and research institutions. It hosts one of the largest communities of international students in Portugal and it is the most cosmopolitan Portuguese university.

I am fluent in English, French, Spanish and Italian. Being myself a foreign language student (and I was also a an ERASMUS student), I can relate to the students' difficulties in learning a foreign language. I was a COMENIUS Language Assistant in Naples, Italy. Since 2003, I have taught in schools, in-company and also online, in Portugal, Italy, Spain and Angola. Now I live in Lisbon and I have been working in a language school specialized in the teaching of Portuguese as a Foreign Language, in a new project which aims at improving the language skills of Erasmus students in Portugal.
