I am a Danish tutor and translator. I am a language assessor, TEFL certified and a mYngle certified Blended Learning trainer. I come from a position as executive assistant to the CEO of a Danish foundation and have been used to the corporate world for many years. Tutoring gives me a chance to present not only the Danish language to students but also the Danish culture and way of life. Danish grammar is not difficult, but pronunciation is and therefore we will work hard on getting the correct articulation. I sometimes use music to help you practice pronunciation at home.

I have worked with students of all ages from both beginner’s level to intermediate to expert level, where the students need help with pronunciation. Learning a new language also involves immersing yourself into a new way of thinking and a new culture. The Danish culture differs in many ways from the general European culture and you will get an insight into the differences and learn how to deal with them. Deciding to learn a new language is a big step, and can no doubt be very daunting at first. Making mistakes is a given and finding a tutor you feel comfortable with is key. Learning should be a fun and interesting voyage to embark on. To excel at a new level is inspiring. Whatever your level is, I will create a teaching plan focused on the level you wish to reach and your personal interests. I am a mYngle certified Blended Learning trainer.
