Far from being a heretic, I find you very fair and considerate in your analyses of the issues we discuss!

Your treatment of the Rg Veda story was very impressive: both your interpretation of the material and how you related it to Christian tradition were compelling, and I want to thank you for opening up about your own religious convictions.

So glad you enjoyed the Iroquois story, and I enjoyed your comparisons to Aboriginal & Greek mythologies.

Truly, wonderful work with your story! I would be happy to read more of your writing, if you are so inspired--or tired, as was apparently the case this time ;)

For fear of coming off as too cheesy, I’ll try to avoid the figurative language, and just say that you did very well with today’s lesson. I hope you enjoy the new materials, and as I mentioned, please pay attention to the visual element of the language for figurative speech.

Happy Birthday, Wilfried! I'm so glad that you chose to incorporate a little English into your celebration, and may this year bring a variety of verbal diversions ☺

You made some excellent insights into urban legends, despite your limited exposure to them—I am going to have to ask other Germans about this apparently English quirk. Have a wonderful vacation, and I can't wait to hear about your experiences: has London changed much since you were last there?

You made a great point about the relative believability of Orwell's hoax & the recent Georgian ruse, and I think you're absolutely right about the importance of that distinction in evaluating blame. I really enjoy hearing your positions & observations--let's see what you think of some urban legends!

Again, you are doing very well with the parts of speech and the vocabulary you are choosing. Once you get going with the complex sentences, I hope you will feel more confident with eloquently expressing your ideas!
