Your comments were superb: I especially appreciated what you had to say about the Japanese business culture. Do you hear yourself becoming more fluent with expressing your ideas? Perhaps as we move the topic abroad, the concepts will be a little more foreign, and a little harder to discuss.

Very astute comments on Europe's economic crisis, and I agree with your analysis of the suggestions presented in the article as rather an extreme solution—perhaps they would have been more useful when you first heard them a decade ago!

I'm sorry that Japan is not in the world cup, because then you might have more opportunities to show off the language we practiced today...

Fine work with your presentation! Now, I recommend that you think about: projection (make your voice loud and clear), speed (slow down so that you can fully enunciate each word), and phrases (incorporate more of those presentation phrases to make your delivery smoother & more interesting.

Now you have a good command of the meeting phrases. The next step is to put them into practice!

Your comparisons between the merger in the article and in your company were quite strong: I look forward to reading your short article based on this topic, and incorporating the vocabulary we have been covering.
