Filippo, it was a pleasure teaching you today. I hope you will have the opportunity to renew your English lessons soon! Today's lesson was very relatable to the workplace and professional meetings. You had the chance to elaborate, share your viewpoints and opinions. You speak very well, using appropriate vocabulary in a cohesive manner. You had to read common proverbs and then express whether you agree or disagree and give your reasons for why. You learned a new word, "concur", which means to agree. You learned phrases to use when you need to agree or disagree with something in a meeting and I gave you a tip as to how you should politely interrupt someone when you don't understand or need clarification with something. The phrase to use is "Sorry, may I interject for a moment", at which point you would ask for clarification using one of the phrases that suits the meeting, environment and colleague/client the best. Lastly, you read common statements and you described how/why they best express your reaction when agreeing or disagreeing. Great job with today's interesting lesson!

Today we worked on a review of the future simple tense. You did well with grasping the essentials of the material and moving forward should put it into real-life practice through conversations and writing. Keep up the good work!

Today we worked on a reading task. Nice work with the reading today, you were able to read the article for both gist and detail and answered most of the questions with good accuracy. Continue reading more articles using the resources I mentioned to practice these skills even more. Keep up the good work.

Today we completed our examination of phrasal verbs. It was a lot of information to take in today but you were able to manage the material and make progress. I suggest doing the extra exercises that we spoke about.

It was nice to meet you Filippo! We had an introductory conversation and then proceeded with the lesson itself. I can tell that you're confident in your spoken English and that you have a good lexical resource too. You use your tenses correctly also. As part of the lesson, you read a list of adjectives and you correctly matched them to one of three categories, such as, person, place or experience. I elaborated on the meaning of some of the adjectives and their meanings, giving you examples of when and how you would use each. The adjectives were, Open- minded, Up-and-coming, Down to earth, Out of the way, Self-assured, Easy going, Time-consuming, Outspoken, Low-key, Tedious, Run of the mill, Unexpected. All these can be used in a number of contexts and conversations. You went on to successfully match definitions given to their adjectives too. Overall, great job, keep it up!
