Cristina, always a pleasure to speak to you! You have an excellent command of the English language and conversations flow easily with a great exchange of thoughts, opinions and facts. Today you took note of a few new words, like for example, "eerie" meaning frightening, strange and "awestruck" meaning a feeling of admiration for something wonderful, awe. I look forward to our next class and varied exchange!

Wonderful conversation today Cristina! As always, you have a great command on the English language. You use the correct tenses and suitable vocabulary. We spoke about home renovations, taxes and societal differences today. Very interesting topics of discussion. You learned a new word "wainscoting" (decorative wall panels). This enabled you to utilize a full range of terms while elaborating on your opinions and knowledge for what we were discussing. Looking forward to our next lesson!

Today's lesson was conversational. Your fluency is improving and the variety of lexical terms you use while speaking is evident. We had an interesting conversation about travel, family and immigration. You successfully used the past tense several times as the topics of our conversation spanned several time periods. Great job today Cristina! I look forward to our next lesson!

Today we focused on conversation regarding a number of different interesting topics. You spoke very well using suitable vocabulary and your sentences were grammatically correct too. We spoke about a variety of things such as, family, travel, Covid, past trips you took, education, schools and university. Wonderful fluency Cristina!

Cristina, you did an amazing job today with your homework. I had assigned slide 7 & 8 of Unit 1 GE C1. You learned a lot regarding the various tenses and were able to give examples of some too, along with correcting sentences given in an exercise and you indicated which tense certain verbs fit into within a chart given. Keep it up!

It was very nice meeting you today Cristina! Your English language fluency is excellent and you did very well with all the exercises you completed. After our initial personal introductions we spoke about reflexive pronouns. You elaborated on why these nouns are used and then read a number of sentences. You continued by indicating if reflexive nouns were used or not and which words were in fact reflexive nouns, when they were actually present within the phrase. I noticed your use of suitable vocabulary when you explained things, such as the word "generic". Very good! Your final exercise today was matching expressions with phrases containing reflexive nouns which are used in everyday English. I explained the meaning of a few expressions as they were new to you and you were quickly able to comprehend the sense of the phrase and match them correctly. Great lesson today Cristina!
