It was great getting to speak with you again today! We did some listening exercises and then talked about current events “I delivered the main project I’ve been working on since the last three months.” - I delivered the main project I’ve been working on for the last three months. Scenario - Scenery “the pros overweigh the cons” - The pros outweigh the cons

    7. Role Play. Pick one of the following situations and report back to your colleague. When your colleague is reporting to you, ask questions and decide how convinced you are. Great class about the above today, keep it up, you're doing great. Thank you for attending. Let's focus on more specific terminology thanks to more precise phrases in the business or financial sector for instance.

    11. Talk about your experiences with your partner. Discuss and answer the below questions (1-4) 1. How did you feel to begin with? 2. Where did your first impressions come from? 3. Did your impressions change with time? 4. Were your first impressions right? Great first class together where we worked on the above. Well done and thank you for providing all the necessary answers.

It was great talking with you again today. We had a nice discussion about your recent job change, and then we talked about some examples of collocations. You did a wonderful job with self-correcting your grammar mistakes. Here are the two mistakes that we corrected during our lesson. “In every jobs you have a learning curve.” - In every job you have a learning curve “several informations” - Several pieces of information (Information is an uncountable noun) 1. Read a situation - think about and understand things that you find out 2. keep an open mind - don't judge people/things too quickly 3. form an opinion - make a judgment 4. Work both ways - can have both positive and negative effects 5. Process information - understand what is going on 6. building relationships - develop connections with people 7. Weigh the pros and cons - consider the advantages and disadvantages 8. Managing unknowns - deal successfully with unfamiliar situations 9. Give you an insight - provide you with useful information to help you understand something 10. keep your eyes open - stay alert 11. Build your skills - develop your ability in a certain area 12. Take your time - don't rush

Fabio, it was very nice to meet you today! Amazing English speaking fluency! We spoke about career, education and life events in general so you truly showed language elasticity and full coherence. As this was an introductory lesson, our conversation was varied and lasted the whole time, which was a positive thing. Next time though, as I mentioned to you today, we can commence with some casual conversation then we can delve into the C1 Business English lesson package to have a good variety of audio listening exercises and related role play situations too. In the meantime, you can also utilize a few moments during the day, either in the car or via MP3 on a break to listen to English podcasts on many different topics of discussion to gain a good grounding on additional and different vocabulary. I hope we have another lesson soon!

A great lesson. We focused on speaking and vocabulary expansion. We discussed society and culture, living in big cities and different stages of life. You were able to develop your answers fluently and demonstrated an impressive range of vocabularly. You also were very good at incorporating new vocabulary into your speech. Well done!
