Your speech had good structure and flow of information, you used functional language well, and had good grammatical control. Besides, you dealt with difficult questions brilliantly!

In today's lesson you focused on meeting terminology and phrases. You read through the Key Expressions (what to say in different situations, setting context, signalling intention and responding to questions and challenges), after which, you incorporated several of these into a role play fictitious presentation. Excellent job, as you did this immediately afterwards! You listened to an audio clip and used skimming skills to quickly go through the audio script in order to find phrases you required to complete sentences from what you heard.

Monica, it was nice having a class with you again today! Very good reading and comprehension. You read a text that focused on what "learning organization" and "systems thinking" is. This, combined with the related exercises afterwards allowed you to elaborate on your own opinions about what everything entailed and also taught you what the aforementioned means, along with introducing new terminology. Some of the new phrases and words were: nurtured, upheaval and paradigm. We also focused on the right sound for the word "success" - with an "x" sound in place of the "cc". Additionally, one of the exercises encouraged you to use the following phrases when speaking about what you read: "There's a lack of..", "There needs to be..", "They should..", "There needs to be..". Excellent job today Monica!

Great to speak with you again Monica. We had some small talk about dogs and your beautiful city of Bologna. Additionally you discussed the extent your decisions are influenced by family/friends, colleagues, social media etc.., providing some of your own excellent examples.
New vocabulary/phrases: "to reach a common ground, limb, expertise, bounce around (talk about)"
Impressive fluency and confidence Monica - continue to listen and read aloud in English.
