Today, we looked briefly at the Present Perfect tense exercise. Then, we had a discussion about women abused by their male partners and the possible motives for this horrific behaviour. Excellent communication Rossella - you interacted very well with correct vocabulary and grammar structures. I see your vocabulary and grammar accuracy are improving a lot. Have a nice weekend!

Today, you practised the Present Perfect tense (past actions/situations that continue in the present / experiences in your life). This is a difficult tense, but with regular practice, it becomes easier. You made some good example sentences Rossella - well done!

Today, we discussed this depressing pandemic period and the very negative consequences for small businesses. As always, very good conversation flow with few hesitations Rossella - you have a very good ability to change to different topics confidently. Over-all, your communication fluency is very positive. However, next class, we will focus on the Present Perfect and Past Simple tenses, to refresh the grammar a little.

Today, we talked about the ski resorts in Italy, the current political crisis in Italy, the multinationals' evasion of taxes in Ireland and the delay in the supply of vaccines globally. You described very well your husband's and your character. Your comprehension and communication are very good - you were attentive with the structures and used the adjectives effectively. Today, we discussed the impact of the Covid on many businesses and the vaccines. Furthermore, you talked about some of your favourite countries, for example Cuba and India. You are an excellent communicator in English and have a good range of vocabulary. However, you had some confusion with the Past Tense verbs.
