BE-B2 UNIT 10 UP TO P6 TECHNOLOGY. We did some reading and listening comprehension as well as vocabulary and expanded on the questions. You answered readily and with some supporting evidence. Some minor mispronunciations (survey, policies) but no misunderstanding occurred.

BE-B2 UNIT 8 p 8-10 and p18 Talking Point. We worked on listening 8.2 and 8.3 on negotiation. We then moved on to UNIT 9 New Businesses p3-4 (q1). Some new words: lose-lost, produce-crops. Some points to pay attention to are: peoples (people), she refuse (refused because you were talking about a past event), he suggest (suggests; 3rd person singular takes a final-s), staff has to become incentive (motivated), don't can hire (cannot hire). You are become more talkative and readily share your opinions with less prompting from my part. Keep up the good work!

I appreciate how actively engaged you are and the questions you ask when you do not understand something. BE-B2 UNIT6 P7 (6.1) AND P11. Today unfortunately I was faced with lots of tech issues and the quality of the lesson wasn't that good. I truly apologize for that Virginia. We worked on listening first and then moved on to the topic of decision-making but didn't finish it. You understood the listening very well and summarized all information accurately. Nicely done!

BE-B2 UNIT6 DECISIONS UP TO P4. We first talked about your holidays and then moved on to the topic. We worked on comprehension as well as vocabulary. Some words: decisiveness, thoughtful, detached (considerate). Some minor mispronunciations but remember when a word is a bit long you need to break it down into little syllables. You were very good at explaining in your own words the information.

BE-B2 UNIT5 p6-10. We continued on the topic of ethics in business; we worked and practiced vocabulary and then did a listening activity on arranging meetings (audio 5.2). New words: bias, deception (deceive). You were much more talkative and comfortable today Virginia. Well done!
