Today's lesson had us talking about change and the effects that it can have. Change can be good, bad but also it can be very difficult. We explored the ways that we can make this easier to accept.

Objects in and around the office. When learning new vocabulary it's always best in my opinion to use the words in context. Don't forget to write a short story using the vocabulary and check to see if the words can be used in a different context.

Today we talked about the current news in China using the slide Motivation - Small Talk for ideas on how to have a successful conversation. Xiaoyin shows great confidence in her ability to have a conversation but for some things a lack of vocabulary will stop the conversation flow.

Great lesson! xiaoyin. Don't forget that with r-controlled vowel sounds like -ar, -ir, -or the mouth is left open and the 'r' is not pronounced. (partner, circle, ordinary). Also, intuition - knowing by instinct, without the use of rational processes.
