Brazilian Independence Day!

Brazilian flagDanilo photoToday is the Brazilian Independence Day, celebrating the Declaration of Independence on September 7th 1822. Brazil is now the fifth largest country in the world in area and population and one of the top ten economies of the world.

The official language of Brazil is Portuguese, the sixth most popular language of the world according to the number of native speakers. You can also find Portuguese being spoken in several other countries and regions of the world such as: Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Portugal, São Tomé and Príncipe, Mozambique, Equatorial Guinea, East Timor, and the S.A.R. of Macau. This is of course not even considering the other smaller communities of expats around the world.

So… what does this have to do with Myngle?

Well, if you like to travel and myngle with any of the 200 million people who speak Portuguese, communication will be much easier if you learn the language. Also, if you are in the business world, the largest economy in South America speaks Portuguese so learning the language will help you create a better connection with local clients or even help establish new partnerships.

Educators of the Portuguese language will also be happy to know they can now easily teach and myngle with students around the world without any need of physical displacement through our platform.
