Learning a language could be very similar to learning math. First, pictures are associated with a sign for example: an apple = 1, two oranges = 2, and so forth. After the basic numbers are learned, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,… 9 the rest of the numbers are all derived from their logical combination. In this case, 7 + 8 = 15.

When learning a language first we go through the basic words and then build further vocabulary by mixing these through a logical combination. As an example, we have yesterday which is today minus 24 hours.

Simple, right?! Not quite, but later on we’ll get there. Until then, heres a little video about numbers:
