Professional Experience

Higher Education in Ukraine. The Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Institute, Urawa (Tokio). The Training Program for Japanese-language teachers abroad.   Offline teaching experience: 20 Online teaching experience: 17   I worked as a teacher in Foreign language courses, as well as in Colleges and University. In addition many years I give individual lessons. My oldest student was a lady 77 year old. Classes with her brought me great pleasure. My youngest students had 5 years old, but they are perfectly learn Japanese caracters and enjoy hearing tales and singing Japanese songs! And yet, I was really happy to get a Grant to participate in training programs for teachers of Japanese language. These programs are designed for teachers of Japanese language abroad with the opportunity to improve their Japanese language skills and teaching methods and deepen their knowledge about Japan in the Japan Foundation Japanese Institute, Urawa (Tokio, Japan).

Personal Information

I love the Japanese style, a romantic essays Yasunari Kawabata, a wise Kamono Chomei, a brilliant Murasaki Shikibu, admire Japanese movies - Tonari no Totoro, Howl's Moving Castle, Grave of the Fireflies, Zatoichi and amazing folk tales Momotaro, Kintaro, Urashimataro etc. They are fascinating albeit with a tinge of sadness, sometimes. And lovely kids singing - Ureshii Hinamatsuri and Akai kutsu and Sakura Sakura... I also love Brazil, I was delighted with the poetic novels of Jorge Amado and the tales of Brazilian folklore, children's fairy tales of Ruth Rocha and Professora Vera, love Brazilian music, love Tom Jobim, Alcione, Lia of Itamaraca, Ana Carolina and Seu Jorge, Turma da Monica, pegadinhas of tongue-in-cheek Joao Cleber. And I love the ancient noble and refined Portugal: ...As armas e os baroes assinalados... Viagem a Lisboa, Alfama, Madredeus, Fado, Amalia Rodriges - whose heart can remain calm? And how can I not love Russian and Ukrainian culture, which for me are indivisible? Pushkin and Lesja Ukrajinka, Dostoevsky, Chekhov and Kotlarevsky, nostalgic captivating ballads of Alexander Vertinsky, Russian and Ukrainian Folk Art, Folk Songs etc, etc. So let's together read, sing and speak in Russian, in Ukrainian, in Japanese, in Portuguese!
