About Me

Hi! I am from Spain, but I live in London since 2003. I enjoy my job teaching Spanish to other young professionals in the City, to where I cycle every day. I love music, sports, photography and Internet. I like sharing my experiences with others and that is why I became a teacher! I am bilingual English/Spanish which helps building a good communication during the lessons.

I qualified as a teacher here in London. I obtained the Cambridge Language Teaching to Adults certificate in International House. Back in Spain I studied History and Sociology at University of Salamanca. The year I graduated I moved to live in the UK. Once in London I studied English for some months to catch up with the standards required for my job. Now I work for different companies as a freelance teacher. I teach privately to professionals in their own offices in high profile companies. I also teach at a College, to students with special needs (hearing impaired), and small groups. I have (offline) students from all nationalities, ages, occupations, interests... Every person is a world and the lessons with them vary as they like to focus on their own 'fields': business, travel, literature, music, etc. It is easier to think and to speak -in English or in Spanish- about what you have in mind, isn't it? That is my methodology! Learning doesn't have to be boring. I have students for more than 2 years who can tell about this.
