About Me

I live in Almere, and work at a school called ROC Flevoland. For 1,5 year I am an accountmanager: I am a contactperson between school and factories, shops, offices, etc. where students have to practice. Before that I was a teacher for 22 years. Some hobbies: travelling (meeting other people is meeting other cultures), cooking, other languages.

I have a degree in teaching Dutch, from teaching the alphabet upto national exams. I am specialized in real beginners (foreigners, refugees).

I was a teacher for 22 years. Among other courses (history, geography, mathematics) I also was a teacher in Dutch language. For several years I was a teacher especially for foreign students from all over the world, also refugees. Therefore I am very patient, have humor and really like to make contact. I can teach you from a starter's level until an experienced speaker. I can prepare lessons custom-made for you: you only want conversation, no problem; you want to know especially a subject for you: ask me; you want to learn to write in Dutch: ask me again and I will teach you.
