| I work in English, Cree (an Aboriginal language) and French. I recently adopted a family on Mindanao and a niece in Taguig City. I am 64 years old and happily married for 42 years with 3 sons, 2 daughters, 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. I grew up without a family and I feel much more complete since adopting a family in the Philippines. They need me as much as I need them. We manage with their English but I want to be able to understand them in Filipino as well. I am a high school teacher, airline pilot and legal researcher with 4 graduate degrees. I live in a Cree village, 600 kms away from the nearest other gas station. There has only been a permanent road for ten years. I have lived here for most of 42 years with no plans to leave |
