Personal Information
My linguistic background is as a Dutch native speaker. My professional background is as a natural scientist (PhD) specialized in food safety, for which I have to speak and/or write in English on a daily basis, particularly scientific/technical language. Besides this, I also have to present lectures and other presentations in English. Receiving tuition over an extended period, I think, will help me improving my conversational English skills and becoming proficient in writing, speaking and reading (I've been taking short courses in UK for this purpose since 2004). Because of frequent travel duties for business, Myngle appears to be a solution for finding time for weekly lessons outside the working and travelling hours.
