I'm Alan, I'm from the UK and now live in Barcelona where I have made my home. I enjoy the lifestyle and the culture and the food and the weather of this incredible city that has become my "home". I love reading and learning about words and language, from the back of the cereal packet to books on philosophy, psychology, religion, science, sociology, etc, etc. My two boys are growing up bilingual, soon to be tri-lingual, as they add Catalan to their Spanish & English. I love watching them learn new things and seeing the world through a child's eyes once again.
