I am a certified and experienced teacher in Qingdao China and have been a teacher in a senior middle school for 19 years.I have been studying Chinese hard for many years and started online mandarin teaching in 2007. I usually use skype extra talkandwrite for lessons which is very effective for languages teaching and learning.It allows the students to share a white board wirh me. With this white board, we can share the teaching materials,make notes and write the Chinese words on,etc.The most important thing is that the student can save the material on their own computer for after class study.I can always creat a lot of oppotunities for the students to practice speaking the language so they can improve fast. That's why most of my students are long term students.I am currently teaching mandarin for a large languages teaching company in US. I work as an English-Chinese language translator as well.
