About Me

I have a Masters Degree in Political Philosophy from the University of London and a Bachelors Degree in Linguistic Anthropology from the University of Arizona. I have worked with the United Nations, first as a volunteer English teacher and later as a Communications Officer. I have traveled and taught in different parts of Asia and have joined relief organizations which deliver emergency supplies to children affected by disasters across Asia. I have helped set up temporary make-shift tent schools in disaster zones for children whose schools were destroyed and also taught English to children and their parents. Currently, I work as a free-lance writer for different English publications at the same time writing my first novel. In the future, I would like to open a school for children in some parts of Asia where they can study English and sciences for free.

I have been teaching English for speakers of other languages for more than 10 years both as full time and part-time job. After 3 years of teaching, I became a teacher-trainer and a headmaster of a medium-sized language school wherein I developed ESL curriculum, level-assessment schemes, teaching modules, ESL lessons and teacher-training programs. I have worked with different nationalities including Koreans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Eastern Europeans among others. In addition, I have worked with diplomats, UN staff and officers, expatriates, businessmen and their families I have taught and developed programs for TEFL, TOEFL TOEIC and GMAT and other standardized examinations and taught SAT for free to inner city high schoolers.
