Karen has been providing training to adults at work and on leisure courses for over twenty years. She now specialises in teaching high-level business English on a one-to-one basis, but still enjoys teaching groups, all levels, and general English as well as helping many students prepare for exam success. Karen has a bachelors degree, has a teaching qualification, and is CELTA qualified to teach English.
Personal Information
I love being an English Teacher! I specialise in one-to-one teaching and Business English, using my extensive business experience, combined with my love of the language. I am passionate about meeting students' individual needs, and giving insight into British culture as well as the language. I have helped many students prepare for exams including IETLS and BEC. I am also a writer and published playwright. I love drama and story-telling and I believe this adds another dimension to my teaching.
