About Me

I'm great fun to learn with, very patient and love working with the rich world of language. I have travelled a lot, it's a passion of mine to meet people of different cultures and understand their ways of living. I am a Buddhist. I worked in the BBC documentary department for some time as a researcher and camera operator. I now have a small child. I find teaching very fulfilling as it enables me to communicate across cultures and make good friends. I am looking forward to meeting you I AM ON HOLIDAY UNTIL THE 23RD OF AUGUST. I have a first class honours degree and am English. I have been teaching English for the last 12 years. This includes one-to-one sessions and classes in Nepal, Tibet, Japan and Spain covering all ages and levels of fluency. I have taught primary schools, tutored British GCSE qualifications, Cambridge certificate and individuals seeking practical tutoring with conversation skills and work-specific language. I have great success with my students and am happy to tutor you in any field of English you would like help with. IMPORTANT: please give at least two days notice when booking a lesson.
