Professional Experience

I hold a Spanish teaching degree (Maestra con la especialidad en lengua extranjera) from the University of Málaga. I'm a qualified primary school teacher with a focus on teaching English as a foreign language. I'm now getting prepared for the Spanish state exams so that I can also work at a Spanish state-run primary school. The state exams lead to the status of a functionary as I don't want to be restricted to the private sector only.   Offline teaching experience: 3 Online teaching experience: 2   I have a lot of experience in teaching students one-to-one from home and online. I also teach small groups at two local language schools in Spain where I live. I joined Myngle as a teacher offering online lessons to students all over the world about a year ago. It's a great challenge. I really enjoy teaching foreign languages. My lessons are based on the communicative approach. I think it's most important to become fluent in a foreign language first and then concentrate on written expression. I'm convinced of the fact that communicative language learning is only successful if students get the chance to practice conversational situations taken from real life. I always consider the individual needs of my students and adapt my lessons to their level.

Hi there! My name is Agneta. I'm a qualified language teacher from Germany. I'm currently living in the southern part of Spain. Apart from living in Germany and now in Spain, I spent half of my childhood in New Zealand so I grew up bilingually with German and English. I also took part in a study abroad program which gave me the opportunity to study in Sydney, Australia. When I talk English, people often ask me if I'm from New Zealand or Australia because of my interesting Kiwi accent. :) Being an online language teacher, I actually have to manage three different langauges a day- a big challenge! I'm really interested in learning other languages too. As soon as I'll find more time for myself, I will definitely start learning another language. I have a lot of teaching material and apart from working with different material during the lesson in the virtual classroom, I also send my students e-mails with material adapted to their level. Such material includes for example worksheets in pdf or word doc format, web-based material, PowerPoint slides which I often create especially for my students, interactive exercises, different types sources like newspaper articles taken from an online newpapres or magazines, online videos etc. I offer package deals at fair prices.
