Bonjour! Buenos Dias! Guten Tag! السلام عليكم ورحمة الله و بركاته ------------------------------ ABOUT ME AND MY BACKGROUND: Je m'appelle John. I am a university professor teaching Management and International Business, and a high school teacher of French. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in French, and the equivalent of one additional year, full time, of graduate work in French. I have traveled quite a bit in life, with frequent visits to India over the past 40 years. I was married in India, and my wife is from India. ----- MY INTEREST IN LANGUAGES: Teaching high school French to Hispanic students is particularly enjoyable. We use Spanish and English to teach this group. Teaching languages is MY passion and doing what I enjoy most is often more like fun than work. Vive la France !!! --------------------------------------------------------------- MY FREE TIME AND MY HOBBIES : My favorite pastime is communicating with my many internet friends, around the world. I am ADDICTED to my friends, especially the online ones, and BTW that's a GOOD ADDICTION. I do like to travel and will be going to India this summer, end of June, for about 6 weeks. Well, besides loving to TEACH languages, I love to LEARN them also. At present, I have taken up the national language of India and Pakistan, which is Hindi or Urdu (India and Pakistan respectively). Aap kaise hain? Please note - I will be away, out of the country, this summer, but will be returning to instruct by September 1, 2008.
