About Me

My name is Cinzia, I am a very extrovert person in love with teaching and I look forward to hearing from all of you Italian-enthusiastics! I have a degree in Foreign languages and literature I obtained back in Rome, my hometown, and I am currently completing my requirements to obtain a TESL/TEFL certificate (working on module 5). I also have The Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE). Mine is a communicative and informal approach, friendly and easy going to help the student feel at ease throughout the lesson; but the latter can be more formal, 'serious' and structured if that is the wish of the student. Constant conversation with the language taught and no other language spoken, if requested.

I have been teaching Italian to foreign students (all levels) for many years. I simply enjoy teaching, share my knowledge and enthusiasm and inevitably learning new things myself from the students each time. I can teach Italian on all areas and I would define myself as communicative and very, and I mean very, patient (I am used to teaching very young children, too).
